Nicole Carriere, RYT & Owner YogaPiphany Yoga Studio

Nicole has been practicing yoga for over 7 years and has truly enjoyed the self exploration she has received on and off the mat. Her yoga practice has given her so much mentally and physically; which has lead her to want to share this practice with others.  In November of 2009, she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program at Sharing Yoga in Concord, NH allowing her to receive her Registered Yoga Teacher Certification. Nicole's teaching philosophy is that if you can breathe you can do yoga and as a result her classes reflect a variety of poses to help each and every person benefit from this amazing practice.

Sonya Carter, RYT

Sonya has been interested in yoga since she was a teenager. Her mother brought a paperback book about yoga home one day and she found the poses to be challenging, interesting and intriguing. In 2007, she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Mexico, through MokSana Yoga, located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Sonya’s teaching style has been influenced by many teachers from Hatha, Flow, Kripalu and Iyengar traditions.
Sonya recently completed a Children’s yoga training through ChildLight Yoga and she looks forward to sharing the many benefits of yoga with children of all ages at YogaPiphany. Certification: 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance. Certification through MokSana Yoga, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Hannah Denzer, RYT

Hannah is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor who has been practicing yoga for ten years. In the various places she has called home, she has always sought out inspiring ways to continue her practice. In 2008, she completed her 200 hour certification at Atmananda Studios in New York City. While in New York City, she studied under Jhon Tamayo, Tatiana Forero Puerta, and Cyndi Lee. After completing her certification, she moved back to the Upper Valley and began teaching yoga. Her classes combine a vinyasa style flow with Iyengar alignment. She enjoys the emotional release found through the physical act of yoga. She values the sense of community that a yoga studio builds and she gains further understanding of asana through teaching others.

Daphne McCampbell (RYT Certification anticipated March 2011)

Daphne has been practicing yoga for six years and decided to become a yoga teacher to share the benefits that she gained from yoga with others. Daphne is currently completing a 200-hour teacher-training program at Sharing Yoga in Concord, NH. Daphne is looking forward to sharing her practice and helping to contribute to the creation of this community yoga center.  Daphne is also completing her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, and is interested in integrating yoga and mindfulness with her work as a Counselor. Daphne likes to create a safe, gentle, and supportive environment in which each yoga student can further their own practice.

She is also a Certified Partner Yoga Instructor and has taught teens and children’s yoga classes. Memberships: Kirpalu Yoga Teacher’s Association and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

Theresa Mundy, DC & RYT

Theresa became interested in yoga at the age of 16 when her track coach in high school recommended yoga.  She remembers doing yoga from Richard Hittleman's 30 Day Yoga book.  She has practiced on and off for over 30 years and studied with various teachers in varied traditions including Kundalinin yoga, Iyengar, Kripalu, and general Hatha yoga. She has studied and practiced with her current teacher since 1999.    In 2009 she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher certification at Kripalu School of Yoga and began teaching soon after.  Her classes reflect the Kripalu tradition with emphasis on pranayama, asana, and meditation, but she is also influenced by the Iyengar and Anusara methods of yoga.  She has been intrigued with the implications yoga has in one's life - both on and off the mat - and in the spiritual and psychological benefits of yoga and meditation.

Theresa is also a Doctor of Chiropractic having received her degree in 1988.  She brings a unique perspective to alignment in yogat through her knowledge of biomechanics of the spine.  Theresa is married and has 3 teenagers, one dog, and 6 chickens.  Her husband and kids remain her greatest teachers.  She can be reached at tmundy@me.com or through her website at www.tmundyyoga.com.
